Fresh New Look

TextSoap 5.7 offers up a new look. We know that processing text is not the most exciting task on your list, so we've created a fresh new look that remains true to the staying out of your way.

Streamline your workflow with our new Palette

Simpler Group Management

TextSoap 5.7 improves the group management with a new modeless editor. Add, remove, rename groups with the utility menu. Use the Group menu to quickly switch between and edit each group.

TextSoap Deluxe also lets you add labels in your groups. They work like spacers, only with added text.

On the fly word count

TextSoap 5.7, again, goes modeless (do I smell a theme). This time, it is with document statistics. Keep track word count, character, count or paragraphs. Great for keeping yourself at 500 words or making sure you've reached your minimum word count. Select the text and click on the toolbar icon to just process the selection.

Improved Custom Cleaner Editor

In TextSoap 5.7, we've improved the custom cleaner editor. Drag and drop improvements make creating custom cleaners a piece of cake. Custom Cleaners offer up a whole host of new actions as well.

New Actions

TextSoap 5.7 Deluxe adds several new actions, some of which allow you to find specific styles and apply a cleaner to that text. Or you can tag the text, (i.e. add an HTML tag), find text that matches a pattern and apply a style to it, or extract text that matches a pattern. Six new actions make for great building blocks to create your own custom cleaner.

CleanKeys brings sparkling text actions to your keyboard

You can define up to nine quick key actions to apply cleaners. Some folks don't like taking their hands of the keyboard, and now you don't have to. Command-0 is defined to call MyScrub, Command-1 thru Command-9 keys are open for your control.

Plug-ins

TextSoap 5.7 Deluxe offers up a complete set of plug-ins. System plug-ins like the contextual menu and AppleScript Addition provide for global access to TextSoap features. Application specific plug-ins provide for even tighter integration with applications such as Eudora, BBEdit, TextWrangler, and Mailsmith.
